Training

These cartoons were made for Dutch kids' newspaper 7days, for an article about trainings/educations.

I'll translate: -circus artist: "Bravo! You're the best clown student I ever had!" ...."This actually was a real accident.." -foreign language: "...He learned to speak Mandarin..." -food design: "I call it ... potatoe!" -lab animal care: Can't be translated...it's a language bound joke.

Game background

These were made for an internet game (pitch), situated in the French Alps.

Educational illustration

These are illustrations I have made for a large educational publishing company, for a pilot. In the meanwhile I have illustrated many many more images for them. But since secrecy statements are tight and the time between illustrating and publishing can be up to two years it can take a while before I can show the work. Anyway, these were created in june 2010.

Scouts compass

The Scouts Compass, produced by Young Crowds, is out. It contains several illustrations made by Doodle.nl in a different, more realistic style than the other compasses. Here are a few samples from the book.

MAD spread: DWDD

I was asked to illustrate a spread for the new Dutch MAD magazine, about popular Dutch television show 'De wereld draait door'. I had a blast because it's so much fun drawing something that so many people recognise. I hope you like it, here it is.
