Educational illustration

These are illustrations I have made for a large educational publishing company, for a pilot. In the meanwhile I have illustrated many many more images for them. But since secrecy statements are tight and the time between illustrating and publishing can be up to two years it can take a while before I can show the work. Anyway, these were created in june 2010.

Scouts compass

The Scouts Compass, produced by Young Crowds, is out. It contains several illustrations made by Doodle.nl in a different, more realistic style than the other compasses. Here are a few samples from the book.

MAD spread: DWDD

I was asked to illustrate a spread for the new Dutch MAD magazine, about popular Dutch television show 'De wereld draait door'. I had a blast because it's so much fun drawing something that so many people recognise. I hope you like it, here it is.

Characters for a game in 7days, in which a detective has to find out where to find a thief by talking to people around the world.

Dutch MAD coming soon!

MAD magazine is coming to Holland. Doodle.nl was asked to illustrate a spread about popular Dutch tv-magazine 'De wereld draait door' (double meaning 'the world keeps spinning/the world goed mad'). Here's a preview.

New Junglebook illustration

This is a new illustration I made for the Cub scouts compass (Dutch). It turned into a really nice looking book, made by Young Crowds.
